Fred Provorny is a professor of law, technology and entrepreneurship who has served on the law faculties of Syracuse University, the University of Maryland, the Brooklyn College of Law and the Albany School of Law, where he founded the Science and Technology Law Center. A leader in interdisciplinary education, Professor Provorny most recently founded the Center for New Technology Enterprise to promote global collaboration and research in technology transfer and commercialization.

He teaches a Consumer Protection Law Seminar as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, has lectured extensively on consumer's rights and legal ethics.
