OFFICE ETIQUETTE EXPERT: You will be working in an office. Well, do not forget the golden rule works there just as it does anywhere else.

ROCHELLE EISENBERG: It is never appropriate to go on to porno sites.

IRWIN KRAMER: That is a policy that should be spelled out in an employee handbook and it should be enforced through periodic monitoring.

ROCHELLE EISENBERG: Internet use in the office has turned into one of the biggest problems we confront.

MARY KEATING: Office porn can be a serous problem in the workplace. It can subject people to something that they do not want to see and it seems to build a culture where people are talking too much about sex or telling sexual jokes in the workplace and it makes other people very uncomfortable.

IRWIN KRAMER: And if what is going on in the workplace is the wrong kind of internet surfing, an employer could find himself drowning in litigation.

ROCHELLE EISENBERG: An employer needs to have a written policy delineating very clearly what is appropriate computer usage.

COMMENT: Remember those simple rules of office etiquette and you will get along in the business world.
